FINISHING SCHOOLS
Finishing Schools, a tool that allows to finance up to 70% of the costs of the companies' training-on-demand plans, both in soft, technical and specific skills. It is developed in strategic alliance between Uruguay XXI and INEFOP.
It is directed to companies with operations in Uruguay that export services of the following sectors:

Architecture & Engineering

Companies may develop their own training plans or submit proposals jointly with specialized educational institutions.
Some examples of the supported courses are: languages, customer service, project management and development of different platforms. Courses can be given by institutions or by both national and international experts.
BASF, Mega Pharma, Arkanosoft, Corefone, Infocorp, Mercadolibre, Despegar, and Quanam are some of the companies that have already participated in this initiative.

PUBLIC EMPLOYMENT CENTER (CEPE)
It is a free territorial service that coordinates and provides different services tending to facilitate the meeting between supply and labor demand, in the formal sector of the economy.

Service to the worker (over the age of 18, who wants to look for a job or receive advice to strengthen their productive enterprise): provides tools to facilitate access to the labor market: information, career guidance (individual and workshops). Also labor intermediation: the curriculum vitae is entered in the Via Trabajo Platform (viatrabajo.mtss.gub.uy) and its data is registered in the workers option.

Service to the company: supports the creation of new productive units of small and medium size and strengthening. It also supports the search and pre-selection of workers for the company through a system of labor intermediation (viatrabajo.mtss.gub.uy/cepes).

NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF EMPLOYMENT AND PROFESSIONAL TRAINING (INEFOP).
Its main task is to implement policies of professional training and strengthening the employment of workers in our country.

UNIVERSITY OF WORK OF URUGUAY (UTU)
The UTU offers several levels of education: Basic Cycle, Technological Baccalaureate, Tertiary Level Technician, Technological Engineering and short courses.
UTU courses fields: agrarian, artistic and crafts, footwear and leather, journalism, hospitality and tourism, business administration, safety and hygiene, clothing, construction, aesthetics, gastronomy, graphics, sports, electrical engineering and electronics, horse riding, logistics, informatics, maritime, metal and mechanical, optics, chemistry, carpentry, administrative assistant, technical prevention in industrial safety and hygiene.
